03:30: Liverpool have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.
The Colombian failed to get regular game time under Zinedine Zidane last season.
Manchester United have been linked with a move, and Rodriguez’s agent, Jorge Mendes, offered his client to Jurgen Klopp’s men, Sport claim.
However, the Spanish paper claim the Reds don’t want to pay the £66million asking price for the 25-year-old.

22:20 Chelsea should not look to replace Diego Costa with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang because not even Jurgen Klopp wants to take him to Liverpool, according to pundit Alejandro Moreno.
Chelsea are in the market for a striker after manager Antonio Conte told Costa he can leave the club this summer.
Moreno says the fact Klopp, who managed the Gabon international for two years at Borussia Dortmund, has not tried to sign him at Liverpool should put Chelsea off.
"He seemed to be the hot property and somehow he kind of fell of the radar, PSG doesn't want him anymore, and this team doesn't want him anymore," he said on ESPN FC.
"Even a guy like Jurgen Klopp who had him at Borussia Dortmund, there is no conversation of that going on."
14:39: Arsenal are so desperate to stop Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moving to Liverpool they would rather lose him on a free transfer next summer than cash in on a deal now.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is yet to sign a new contract at the Gunners and Liverpool are keen on a £40m.
But the Liverpool Echo claim Arsenal are not interested in letting him go to Anfield.
The Gunners are hoping a foreign club come in for the England international but they are equally happy to keep him on their books this season.
04:00: Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to turn their attentions to Philippe Coutinho after being thwarted by Kylian Mbappe.
Coutinho has been the subject of interest from Barcelona, while Mbappe is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe.
And according to French paper Le10 Sport, the Parisian giants are prepared to pay £70million for Coutinho.
The report claims PSG are confident the Reds would enter negotiations at that price.
